A student perspective on maintaining a grocery budget

Alexis Estrada has lived on his own for more than a year now, but is still learning new tricks to keeping a budget and planning shopping lists and meals to prevent food waste. In the following interview with him, not only do we discuss Estrada’s love for cooking and Thai food, but he also shares his grocery shopping techniques (only buy groceries as you need them!) and his love for Costco (bulk=best). He also talks about how buying generic brand items instead of store brand could definitely help college students on a grocery shopping budget.
